FN Series AC/Inverter Seam Welding Machine

Product Description

FN series seam welding machine is to replace the cylindrical electrode of the spot welding machine by rotating roller electrodes, applying continuous or pulsed current when rolling the surface of the workpiece, so that the contact area forms a continuous melt core, and finally forms a sealing weld. The welding process needs to synchronously control the electrode pressure, current intensity and roller speed to ensure that the weld seam is uniform and continuous. Advantages:  Strong weld sealing: The weld formed by the continuous melt core can achieve “gapless sealing”, which can effectively block liquid and gas leakage, and is the core equipment for the welding of pressure vessels and sealing components.  High efficiency. Suitable for mass production: the roller electrode is continuously rolling, and the welding speed of a single weld can reach 0.5-5m/min (much higher than manual arc welding), and it can be integrated with an automated production line (such as feeding with a robotic arm), which is suitable for large-scale standardized products.  Stable quality. Good consistency: Electrode pressure, current, rotation speed and other parameters are accurately controlled by the system (error ≤±2%), and the weld width and penetration depth are uniform, avoiding the problem of “virtual welding and overburning” of manual welding, especially suitable for thin plate welding, with a small heat-affected zone and low workpiece deformation.  Easy operation and high degree of automation: no need for filling materials and shielding gas, only through metal resistance thermal welding, reducing the cost of auxiliary materials; And through programming preset parameters, it can adapt to different workpiece specifications and reduce manual skill requirements.  Weld strength close to base metal: The metallurgical bond strength of continuous melt core is high, and the tensile strength of mild steel welds can reach 300-400MPa (close to 90% of the base metal), and the fatigue resistance is excellent. Applicable Industries Automobile Manufacturing:  Fuel tank, new energy vehicle reservoir: sealed welding made of mild steel or aluminum alloy to ensure no leakage of fuel/coolant  Muffler and exhaust pipe: Ring seam welding of stainless steel or aluminized steel plate, which needs to be resistant to high temperature and corrosion;  Water tank/radiator: Parallel seam welding of brass or aluminum alloy sheet to ensure coolant circulation and sealing. Pressure vessel and plumbing industry:  Water heater liner: ring seam welding of enameled steel plate, which needs to withstand 0.7MPa water pressure (household) or higher pressure (industrial use);  Gas tank/cylinder: longitudinal seam and ring seam welding of mild steel or low alloy steel for compressed air, liquefied gas storage;  Pipeline flange: Continuous welds between steel pipes and flanges to ensure the airtightness of the pipeline system. Home appliances and metal packaging industry:  Washing machine inner cylinder: the crimped seam of stainless steel sheet welding, which needs to be resistant to water corrosion and high-frequency vibration;  Refrigerator evaporator/condenser: continuous welding of aluminum tubes and fins (with special roller electrodes);  Metal cans/steel drums: The sealing seams of food cans (tinplate) and chemical drums (cold-rolled steel plates) are welded to prevent the contents from leaking or deteriorating. Aerospace and Military:  Aircraft fuel tank: sealed welds made of aluminum or titanium alloy, which need to be lightweight and resistant to high-altitude and low-pressure environments;  Ammunition casing: continuous welds of mild steel to ensure the safety of explosives storage. Medical devices and precision components:  Sterilizer cavity: stainless steel sealed welding, which needs to withstand high temperature and high pressure steam;  Metal filter frame: continuous welds of thin steel plates to ensure the stability of the filter structure. Weldable Materials Mild Steel vs. Low-Alloy Steel
